The Southeastern Treeing Walker Association began as a dream in the minds of a few hunters in Virginia, NC, and SC.  

The Breeder, Owners, and Fanciers of the Southeastern Treeing Walker Association have organized themselves for the express purpose of advancing the Treeing Walker Breed as a whole and to influence the breeding of a better and finer coonhound.

The inherent among the privileges of the American citizens have the right to choose the breed and type of that breed and type.

We accept these principals and subscribe to them members of the Southeastern Treeing Walker Association.

All or any breeder, owner and/or fancier of the Treeing Walker Breed regardless of sex, race, creek or color may be eligible for membership in this organization provided, however, that no member shall advocate the overthrow of the Government of the United States of America by Unconstitutional methods.
